Studio Update
Hi Parents and Dancers,
This is the last week of our regular dance season. Instructional classes for the 2019/2020 will come to a conclusion on Friday, May 22nd. Please use the same Zoom link to log into class for this week.
Our staff and our dancers are amazing! When the world shut down and stood still, Edge Dance Center and our Dancers kept moving. We are so proud of how far they have come and how they continue to improve. The flexibility of our dancers was truly tested in the middle of March and our dancers passed that test. We hope our dance classes made their life a little brighter because we know seeing them each week definitely put some light into our lives.
We wanted to pass along some information to everyone as we begin this last week. Please let us know if you have any questions, comments or suggestions. We appreciate hearing from you.
Costume Pickup Days: We are now able to do a curbside pickup for costumes. We are so excited to put these costumes into our dancers’ hands. We will be doing curbside pickup on the following days and locations (times to be announced):
Tues, May 26th - Lumberton studio - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday regular classes.
Wed. May 27th - Cinnaminson studio - All Cinnaminson classes
Thurs. May 28th - Lumberton studio - Thursday and Friday classes, ALL Miss Jordyn's ballet classes and ALL Edge Co. classes.
**An additional email with time breakdowns and instructions will follow later this week. This will be a no-contact pickup. Students and parents will not be permitted to enter the studio. Costumes will be delivered to your car. Account balances must be paid and up to date in order for costumes to be distributed. Please contact: jacque@edgedancecenter.com with any questions.
Edge Dance Center 14th Show Program: We are currently working on a show program to end our 14th Season of Dance. As a reminder, please let us know if your dancer is celebrating their 5th or 10th Show Anniversary with us. Even if you have already added you name to the list in the studio - please resend to us. We would like to make sure they are recognized. We will also be recognizing our Scholarship winners as we do each year.
Edge Photo Day: Once we are able, we will schedule DSM Photography to take individual pictures of your dancers in their costume. Packages will be available for purchase. All necessary precautions will be taken to protect our dancers. More details will be communicated once we can schedule the date. This is an optional activity for those that are interested.
2019/2020 Season Performance: Unfortunately, there are no details at this time. We are still awaiting a decision from local and state authorities to determine a date and appropriate plan to hold our performance. Currently, a lot of our classes exceed the acceptable limit for gatherings. We will communicate details as soon as we are able to. Please have your dancer continue to rehearse and review the choreography. Chrissy and I , as well as our staff, are motivated to provide this performance opportunity to our dancers.
Summer Session 1: Registration is now open for the first session of Summer which begins on Monday, June 1st. This inaugural June Summer offering is being priced at almost 50% off of our regular 6 week Summer tuition. Each class is $40 - and if you sign up for three or more - you will receive a class pass for any class of your choosing. You can register for classes through the Customer Portal on our website and on our Edge Dance Center Mobile App. We look forward to continuing to see our dancers in June. Please contact us with any questions. **Class Pass: Dancers must be rostered to receive free class information and links.
Summer Session 2: The schedule is being refined to reflect the needs of our customers and the ability to provide "in studio" classes if we are able. We will share the schedule once we can. The Summer session 2 schedule of classes will begin Monday, July 20th.
2020/2021 - Our 15th Season! - will begin on Monday, Sept. 14th. Mark you calendars.
