Season XV and Open House
Hello Edge Dancers -
We are so excited to get this season started. But first...... a little info!
OPEN HOUSE - Saturday, Sept. 12th 10am-1pm. Help us spread the word - Share on Social Media, Bring a Friend in, let your neighbors know, etc. There will be tours, meet some staff members and a prize wheel for new students. We are also scheduling FREE TRIAL classes for all potential new students at Edge. Remember that our Referral Program still applies! If you refer a friend to Edge who registers for the Season - you receive a tuition credit for one month of free dance. ($60 value).
SHOES & DANCEWEAR: If you would like to get sized at the Open House tomorrow - please email for an appointment. (info@edgedancecenter.com) If your dancer needs shoes for class - we can also pull them out of class upon request and get them sized for new shoes. Our studio dress code is outlined on our website: Dress Code. Don't panic - we can help you find or purchase anything your dancer needs.
Classes begin Monday, Sept. 14th and there are a few new procedures in place for everyone. Please take a moment to read the information on our website regarding COVID and our Dance Safe Procedures.
Please take a moment to review your dancer's schedule and studio assignment. We have made minor time adjustments throughout the past two weeks to accommodate conflicts and class sizes. Each studio will have it's own entrance for class. For example: Cinnaminson - through regular front door and straight in to dance studio. Lumberton Studio A - studio closest to Nick's Pizza, Studio B - door on side of building and Studio C - door by handicapped parking spots in front of building.
Notes for Virtual Students:
- Dress Code - Dancing in the comfort of your home does not require a dress code but our dancers in the studio will be following the studio policies. We encourage dancers at home to have a designated dance outfit and be prepared for class each week. It will help the dancers get excited and focused on dance. If you are purchasing any items for dance - we recommend getting items in the dress code policy. If and when the students return to the studio, they will be prepared for class, pictures and performances.
- Dance Space - we want to see their full body on the screen. Position the device so that we can see their movement. Clear out a space for them to use each week - the routine will be helpful. Tap shoes can be tricky at home so we suggest a board or safe floor for tap shoes.
- Links for Class - You will be sent reminders with the class links. Until you are in the routine of using Zoom, it is safe to log-in a few moments early just in case you have difficulty.
